NEW FRIENDS is the theme for my 2025 #peachtober art challenge on Instagram, created by Sha'an d'Anthes (@furrylittlepeach). This time around, I combined traditional backgrounds (made with watercolor, gouache, colored pencils, and markers) with digital art characters. I had so much fun sharpening my traditional medium skills, as well as creating thirty-one characters that got to roam around this imaginary neighborhood. Who knows? Maybe one or some of them will get their own book-length stories one day.
